Yao Ming in San Antonio in 2009
The first trip to see Matty and the Spurs in San Antonio was an awesome one. Spurs took on the defending champion Celtics on Friday night and the Houston Rockets on Sunday afternoon.
This meant 7 ft 6 Yao Ming was in town. I will argue with anyone that he was the most amazing athlete I’ve ever seen. At his size, the agility and reflexes he had were amazing. There never was and maybe never will be a player who did the things he did at his size.
